On November 13, 2023, in the Bortala Mongol Autonomous Prefecture of Xinjiang, China, a snow-covered valley became the backdrop for an intense moment as the filmer and companions found themselves surrounded by a pack of wolves while sitting in their car.

The filmer and companions were travelling by car around Sayram Lake when they came across a pack of wild wolves walking slowly towards them in a neat formation. Led by two grey wolves, the seven predators looked surprisingly smart as they tried to surround their vehicle.

Fortunately, after the driver sounded the horn, the wolves did not attack but instead left the scene as neatly as they had arrived, leaving the filmer in the car to marvel at the wonderful experience.
