A man woke up to find his dormitory buried under snow in Tacheng Prefecture, Xinjiang Province.

After finding he was trapped inside his residence, Chen called for an excavator. The vehicle took several hours to clear the snow from the door.

It is reported that the Mayitas wind area in Emin County, Tacheng Region of Xinjiang, is known as the "devil wind area" as winter winds blow snow over and can bury cars quickly.

In fact, there was not much snow where Chen lived, but just that the wind was too strong made snow keep piling up.
