On November 10, a heartwarming video captured a residential house fire in Chengdu, Sichuan province being quickly extinguished by a passing delivery man.

According to the video shooter, after a house on the ground floor of the property somehow caught fire, the delivery man, who happened to be passing by, quickly fetched a fire extinguisher and bravely approached the window, putting out the fire with the help of property staff and the fire brigade, who arrived later, preventing more serious damage.

Chinese netizens have highly praised the deliveryman, Mr Xiong. In an interview, he said that he was delivering food when he heard the security guard calling for assistance for the fire in the community, so he just did what he could to help.
