£300k Ferrari crashed into bollard on one of Britain's most affluent streets
A £300k Ferrari crashed into a bollard on one of Britain's most affluent streets.
The car was said to be going above the 20mph speed limit on Park Lane, Mayfair when it spun off the road and hit a bollard on January 1, 2024.
It ended up backwards and hit a lamp post at around 7pm before police arrived later.
The driver was not the owner of the Qatari registered Ferrari 296, worth £300k, and had its licence plates removed and placed inside the car.
The front and rear of the car were severely damaged - estimated to be a £100k worth of damage.
The Met Police have confirmed it collided with the bollard and say there haven't been any serious injuries.
