Strong winds tear roof from apartment building in Malaysia
Strong winds blew off the roof of an apartment in Malaysia.
Footage shows the gales tearing off a section of the roof of the Iris Garden Apartment in Bintulu City, Sarawak State, on January 18 afternoon.
The debris blew onto several cars in the apartment's carpark.
Wan Kamaruddin Wan Ahmad, Head of the Malaysian Fire and Rescue Service (JBPM) Zone 5 Bintulu, said: 'A total of 11 officers have been assigned to inspect the location of the apartment and carry out post-disaster handling.'
He added there were no casualties reported.
