World's largest passenger plane lands in cloud of spray in Storm Jocelyn strong wind and wet weather at Birmingham Airport

An Emirates A380 Airbus, the world’s largest passenger-carrying airliner landed in a huge cloud of moisture at Birmingham’s BHX International Airport during Storm Jocelyn's gale-force crosswinds.

The flight, from Dubai to Birmingham touched down in 50mph winds on Tuesday 23 January.

As the plane carried along the runway, the four huge jet engines whipped up standing water into a huge stormy cloud.

Wind speeds and wet weather are expected to worsen during the day in the second named storm in as many days across the UK.
