Dolphin gives gifts to its trainers at Japan Dolphin Center
This is the adorable moment a dolphin gave a gift to its trainer at the Japan Dolphin Center in Sanuki City, Kagawa Prefecture.
Footage shows the sea creature named Iruka presenting a large sea cucumber to its handler Shisa Moriyama on January 23.
Shisa said: 'There was trash coming in from outside. To prevent the dolphins from swallowing it, we taught them to bring back anything they find in the water.'
She added that the dolphins may have found the trainers' reactions interesting when bringing back trash, so they continued to give them different objects from the sea.
Iruka had previously brought back seaweed, starfish, and even live octopuses at the centre.
