This footage was filmed and produced 26 January 2024.

In the early hours of January 26, 2024, a dramatic incident unfolded as an officer from the Greendale Police Department attempted to stop a speeding vehicle for a registration violation on 76th Street at Hill Ridge Drive. The driver, initially complying, abruptly fled before the officer could exit the squad car, initiating a pursuit.

The chase led to a harrowing conclusion when the driver lost control while attempting to turn onto Rawson Avenue. The vehicle soared over a sidewalk and snowbank, colliding with the north side of Chase Bank at 76th Street and Rawson Avenue. Prompt assistance from the City of Franklin Police Department proved instrumental, leading to the arrest of the suspect in a nearby wooded area.

Fortunately, no injuries were reported during the pursuit, but the crash resulted in significant damage to the bank building. The arrested 28-year-old from Oak Creek faces charges of Fleeing/Eluding an Officer and 2nd Degree Recklessly Endangering Safety, among other citations.
