The astonishing video shows a forklift nearly overturning while unloading four tonnes of cargo at a warehouse.

The clip recorded showed the overloaded forklift entering the storage facility of a company to drop four tonnes of cargo in the city of Linyi in Shandong, China, on January 28.

But just seconds into the video, it can be seen tilting forwards and nearly crashing to the ground, after the driver lost control of the vehicle during the unloading operation.

A company employee said that the incident occurred because the vehicle's fork was lifted too high and the cargo was too heavy. The driver was immediately taken out of the forklift.

Chinese media reported that the driver was injured in the incident. Meanwhile, the cargo, valued at CNY 10,000(GBP 1,111) was destroyed.
