Officers from the NYPD 17th Precinct promptly responded to distress calls on January 27th after receiving reports of a man floating in the East River. The quick and coordinated efforts of the NYPD Special Ops Harbor Unit and the FDNY resulted in a successful rescue operation, pulling the individual out of the water and ensuring his safety.

Upon receiving the 911 calls, the NYPD officers rushed to the scene, fully aware of the urgency of the situation. Recognizing the need for specialized assistance, the NYPD Special Ops Harbor Unit was immediately dispatched, working collaboratively with the FDNY to execute the rescue mission.

With exceptional skill and efficiency, the combined forces of the NYPD and FDNY were able to retrieve the man from the water. Once safely on land, the individual received immediate medical attention and necessary treatment.
