Rescue forces were called into action during the early afternoon today in Mongiuffi Melia territory to locate and rescue a hiker who had lost their way along a treacherous trail. The helicopter team, known as Drago 142, was deployed to tackle the complexities of the rescue operation.

Due to the challenging terrain, the area did not permit a helicopter landing. As a result, the rescuers chose to lower themselves using a winch to reach the lost individual. Once located, the hiker was safely brought on board the aircraft.

The promptness and skills demonstrated by the helicopter rescue team ensured a successful completion of the rescue operation. The hiker is currently reported to be in good health and is receiving the necessary support from the rescue team.
