Cape Town, South Africa - 4 February 2024: South African minister of International Relations & Cooperation, Dr Naledi Pandor, was hosted by the Gatseville Mosque (Masjidul-Quds) to provide feedback on the recent judgment delivered by the International Court of Justice (ICJ) against Israel. South Africa brought a case against Israel in January to stop its acts of genocide against the Palestinians and to call for cease-fire. In handing down judgment the court said Israel’s actions against the Palestinians could be classed as genocidal in nature. Pandor pledged continued support for the Palestinian people in its efforts for a two-state solution.
