"We are constantly learning more about the food, customs and culture of other countries, and so we wanted to take advantage of this period celebrating the Chinese New Year, or the Spring Festival, to show how to make a typical dish eaten at this time of year."
As Peng made the necessary preparations, the people who had signed up for the masterclass began to queue up outside, including Barcelona resident Lourdes Romero, who told Xinhua that she visited China three months ago and loved the food.

"Gastronomy in Chinese culture is very important, especially now during the New Year period when the whole family comes together, and they share lots of dishes, one of which is Jiaozi (dumpling), which we're learning to make this evening."
