Health agents go from house to house guiding residents and traders in the city of Osasco in Sao Paulo, agents guide residents on the correct use of products that can be used to combat the dengue mosquito, they check standing water, containers, plant pots , puddles of water and water tanks.

During the visit made by the agents, no focus of mosquito larvae was found, but there were reports from residents who had already contracted dengue and others who were not confirmed, but had symptoms of the disease, there are also reports about neighbors who have the disease.

A car with smoke spray is also being used by agents to spray poison against the dengue mosquito.

Osasco City Hall, through the Health Department, remains committed to preventive actions to combat Dengue. In January alone, teams from the Zoonoses/Arboviruses Control Center visited 45,000 properties.

This number was reached in visits to neighborhoods with the highest risk of positive cases. During each visit, the nebulization process (Fumace) is carried out in homes and on the streets. It is worth remembering that each property is visited 4 times a year by city hall endemic agents.

During the month of February, other neighborhoods are receiving teams working to combat Aedes aegypti outbreaks. The work continues until all neighborhoods in the city are covered. In addition, the garbage collection operation was intensified, with the sites being cleaned within 72 hours. A specific service channel was also created for the population to report possible mosquito outbreaks in Central 156.
