SDRF officials rescue person trapped in dumper vehicle in northern India

Officials of the State Disaster Response Force (SDRF) came to the rescue of a man who was trapped inside a dumper vehicle in northern India's Uttarakhand.

This incident happened in Madli bazar of Champawat district on March 11.

Visuals showed one of the SDRF officials cutting open the dumper vehicle to save the man's life. The vehicle was cut open with the help of an electric saw and the man was rescued. The officials carefully pulled out the man from inside of the vehicle. The man's rescue was accompanied by loud cheers as the operation turned out to be a successful one.

It was learnt that the SDRF team acted upon information received from the District Control Room about this incident. A team led by Sub-inspector Pankaj Dangwal arrived at the spot with necessary equipment and saved the man's life before taking him to the hospital via ambulance.
