A daring rescue mission unfolded in Vicenza, Italy on Monday evening as firefighters sprang into action to save a stranded shepherd dog named Mia.

The courageous canine had swum across the Bacchiglione River, only to find herself unable to return to safety due to the powerful current. After a call for help was received, rescuers swiftly rushed to the scene on Casale Street.

With the assistance of river rescue personnel and divers, firefighters navigated their way to the opposite bank using a rafting dinghy. With a careful and calculated approach, they managed to reach Mia and safely bring her back to shore.

The heartwarming outcome of the rescue saw Mia joyfully reunited with her grateful owner.
