SOUNDBITE 1 (Arabic): KHALIL ELHAJ TAWFIQ, Chairman of Amman Chamber of Commerce
"China has a strong economy. China has the pioneering spirit and capacity for innovation, invention, and technology.
I believe that China is capable of achieving growth even in an unconventional manner. Today, the whole world is turning to digital currencies and turning to technology. Today, even today, trade has become electronic-dominant. I believe that China has the brains and capabilities to achieve this growth in non-traditional trade or non-traditional industry."
I believe that China today is capable of building partnerships with all countries, and no one today can separate China from the world or other economies. The economy is very strong."

Tawfiq also highlighted the closer economic ties between China and Jordan, noting that the bilateral relations are at their best.

SOUNDBITE 2 (Arabic): KHALIL ELHAJ TAWFIQ, Chairman of Amman Chamber of Commerce
"I believe relations are at their best as opportunities exist.
China is a major supplier for Jordan. And China today is a country that attracts global investment, influential brands, and exports.
Chinese investments in Jordan have a major role in supporting the Jordanian economy, and there are opportunities that frankly could not be lost.
Jordan also invests in China, where our businessmen operate and the private sector engages in production and exports."
