Bull rescued after it falls into well in central India

Municipality workers came to the aid of a bull which had fallen into a deep well in central India's Madhya Pradesh.

This incident happened in Jhunku ward of Deori municipality area in the Sagar district on March 15.

Visuals showed the bovine inside the well. The water level was high as the animal was close to being fully submerged. The workers of the Deori municipality were seen making efforts to rescue the bull. They put ropes around the animal's body and used bamboo sticks for support. Subsequently, the men used all their might to pull the animal, with the help of the ropes, out of the deep well and save its life. The process might have sounded easier but in reality, was very far from it. The animal was pretty heavy and the challenges of this rescue mission was compounded with the space near the well being a very narrow one. It took around two hours but the municipality workers eventually managed to rescue the bull, which was then seeing munching on some biscuits on the road and made its way out of the area subsequently.

According to a report, this bull fell into the well after it had fought another bovine. Later, it fell into the well. Neha, the municipality chairman was informed about this and she sent workers to help save the bull's life. Vijay Valmiki, Pappu Jamna Valmiki, Sanju Valmiki, Bantu Patel of Ward, Pankaj Jatav, Girdhari Jatav were the workers responsible for the bull's rescue and they did it with the help of other ward residents.
