In a significant operation orchestrated by the IDF and ISA, the Hamad and Al Amal areas in Khan Yunis witnessed extensive search and airstrikes conducted by the 7th Brigade Combat Team over a span of approximately ten days.

The operation, aimed at neutralizing terrorist infrastructure, saw the evacuation of civilians and the apprehension of around 300 militants. IDF troops meticulously carried out targeted raids on numerous multi-story buildings, encountering armed militants on different floors. While the majority surrendered peacefully and were detained, those who resisted were met with decisive action, resulting in the elimination of dozens in close-quarters combat. Additionally, substantial caches of weapons were seized during the operation.

The offensive commenced with a meticulously planned aerial assault, targeting numerous terror sites to support ground forces. The soldiers executed a rapid and precise raid on terror targets in the Al Amal area, swiftly encircling the enemy from multiple directions, catching them off guard.
