A motorist has been left shocked after seeing a car driving with a huge tree hanging out of its boot.

Kelly Magree was a passenger in a vehicle in Halifax, West Yorks,. when she realised the car infront of them had a large shrub coming out of the boot.

In the hilarious footage, which was captured on Saturday (March 23), shows the vehicle casually driving along - with the indicator and brake lights only just visible.

Kelly and the driver of the vehicle can also be heard laughing in the background while they drove behind the black car.

The video went viral on social media, with people saying the driver was 'lucky' that there

wasn't a police car behind them.

One person said: "That’s definitely not legal so it’s lucky there wasn’t a police car behind them, funny though."

Another said: "Good on them for not fly tipping - at least it looks like they’re on their way to the tip."
