A burglar was seen doing yoga stretches before breaking into a bakery in Australia.

CCTV footage shows the intruder lying on the ground in front of Phillipa's Bakery and doing a series of poses before they entered the establishment in Richmond, Melbourne on March 3.

The suspect was dressed in all-black attire, including boots, ripped jeans, and a leather jacket.

The bakery manager said: 'We were quite surprised when we saw the security footage from a recent break-in at our Bakery HQ. Seems like yoga is a must before breaking in.'

They reported to authorities the theft of several items, including hot cross buns, croissants, an iPad, and shoes.

A 44-year-old suspect was later apprehended and charged with theft and burglary by police.
