Herceg Novi’s crazy “Trka Karića” annual racing event: people racing on homemade wheeled boards (1st person view experience at the end of the video)
This happens every year during the Mimosa Festival and people from all over Montenegro take part in this crazy race. They make their own homemade racing boards, decorate it the way the like and then prepare for a whole year until the next race comes. It starts in the center of Herceg Novi and goes all the way down to the beach, taking crazy turns and creating a cheerful and unforgettable atmosphere for hundreds of locals and tourists. I met these guys in striped shirts just before the start of the event and hung my camera on the navigator’s chest. This is what I got in the end! The first person view experience is at the end of the video.
