Hollywood Shooting Investigation in Los Angeles, CA, USA

LAPD Hollywood patrol units responded to calls of shots fired with people running from the scene in the area of Hollywood Boulevard and Las Palmas Avenue.
A crime scene was established on Las Palmas just south of Hollywood.
Officer Drake Madison, spokesperson for the LAPD, said comments from a caller stated that five shots were heard and three black SUVs fled the scene.
Bullet casings were located and a car was impounded at the location, according to Madison.
It is unknown at this time if the shooting is gang related.
