It was reported that there were 3,013 lightning strikes in Fuzhou between 18:00 on April 29th and 9:00 on April 30th.

The China Meteorological Administration continued to issue orange warnings for severe convective weather and yellow warnings for heavy rain at 06:00 on April 30th. Parts of at least six provinces in central, eastern, and southeastern China, including Fujian, may experience short-duration heavy rainfall, local thunderstorm strong winds, hail, and in some areas, thunderstorm strong winds exceeding level 10, with maximum wind speeds exceeding level 12, and possible tornadoes.

预计4月30日08时至5月1日08时，湖南南部、江西东部和南部、浙江东部、福建北部和西南部、广西东部和南部、广东西部和中北部等地的部分地区将有8级以上雷暴大风或冰雹天气，其中江西南部、福建西南部、广西东北部、广东北部等地的部分地区将有10级以上雷暴大风，最大风力12级以上，并可能有龙卷；

中央气象台4月30日06时继续发布暴雨黄色预警：

预计，4月30日08时至5月1日08时，浙江大部、江西南部、福建中南部、广西东部、广东中北部等地部分地区有大到暴雨，其中，福建南部、广东北部等地部分地区有大暴雨（100—180毫米）。上述部分地区伴有短时强降水（最大小时降雨量30—60毫米，局地可超过80毫米），局地有雷暴大风、冰雹等强对流天气。
