This is the amusing moment students dressed as the Terracotta Army at a university parade in China.

The Civil and Commercial Law School paraded resembling the iconic warriors during the sports festival at Northwest University of Political Science and Law in Xi'an, Shaanxi, China, on April 23.

Footage shows the participants marching with the red costume motif and ancient armour.

Qin Shi Huang, the first emperor of China, ordered to build the terracotta sculptures which were buried with him in 210-209 BCE.

This was later discovered by local farmers in 1974.

According to the students, the costumes are rented and prepared by the university.
