Footage has emerged from China of a severely flooded city following heavy rainfall.

In the video, filmed in Guilin, Guangxi Province last Sunday, the whole area can be seen underwater, with rafts and makeshift boats now the main form of transport.

Dozens of tourists were reportedly staying near the river when it flooded and were briefly trapped. Tourist attractions and local businesses have also been badly affected.
