Adorable footage has emerged from the UK of a baby sloth being fed milk by a zoo keeper after her mother passed away.

The video, filmed at Drusillas Park in East Sussex, shows the orphaned infant, called Flash - who requires feeding every three hours, even during the night - being fed by one of the keepers.

For the last few months keepers at Drusillas Park have been hand-rearing a rare baby sloth, after her mother passed away shortly after she was born. The team work hard around the clock to care for the orphaned infant .The sloth, named Flash by followers on Facebook, was born on Saturday 26 March and is the first baby of its kind to arrive at the Park in the zoo’s 91 year history. Flash requires feeding every three hours, even during the night, which is likely to continue for at least 8 months. She consumers up to 30mls of goat’s milk per feed from a sterilised bottle and she also enjoys vegetables and foliage too, particularly swede and sweetcorn.
