As I said before, I originally wasn't going to press charges against Dorrbecker. I had just hit her, and figured that that would have been a lesson learned. After watching the video the responding officers were already calling it assault. They asked if I wanted to press charges, but being that it was 4th of July weekend, I chose not to bother them with it. That was until they went and got her statement. When they returned, one asked if I was SURE that I didn't want to press charges. I asked why she would say that, and it's because Dorrbecker claimed that nothing like this has ever happened to her, and that she's never been arrested before. So I changed my mind, and I'm glad I did. She was arrested for simple battery, taken to jail and let out after the usual 12 hours.
