Hunters save deer from coyotes

An incredible video has just emerged of a group of hunters as they stumble across the aftermath of a coyote attack.

While out on a cougar hunt in Spokane, Washington, Pete Caruso and friends encountered the two animals after they had been attacked by 3 coyotes. The two deer had got their antlers locked together while rutting, making them vulnerable to attack from the coyote.

While one had died from the attack, the other was still trying to free itself from its dead rival.

Having chased off the coyote, the group of men helped to extricate the two. After pulling its antlers free, the deer still alive ran free.
