Firefighters rescue young boy with finger stuck in thimble
Footage has emerged from China of firefighters rescuing a boy who got his finger stuck in some kind of thimble.
The video, filmed in Anqing, Anhui Province on Monday, shows firefighters struggling to free the boy's finger because the small ring-like object is so tight.
They eventually managed to free his finger by using some cotton thread, rather than their usual tools.
Then, they use a cotton thread to get the stuck hoop out of the boy's finger tactfully.
Fortunately, the boy's finger was not injured severely.
