Brilliant footage has emerged from Toronto, Canada, of a man dressed up as Spiderman apparently helping a security officer to catch a woman who was accused of shoplifting.

In the video, shot on Monday, the woman appears to be trying to escape from the shop but Spiderman appears and tackles her.

Later in the video, it looks like the woman is arrested by police.

A lady was caught shoplifting from a costume store, when Spiderman stepped in to help out. For a back story, a man was dressed up on October 31st as Spiderman and was hanging out at a popular intersection in downtown Toronto. ( Just north of Yonge and Dundas Square ). I initially just walked past as the the lady was being talked to by security for shoplifting, Spiderman happened to be a few feet away so he walked over. The lady started screaming and thats when I turned around and began filming again!
