Thank you to this VW Golf driver for being impatient and dangerously overtaking the wrong side of 'keep left' signs and traffic island. As you will see my pupil, who was only on her 7th and 8th hour of learning, was making perfect progress on the road and many of you will know the weather conditions yesterday were very wet and slippery. This driver does not consider the driveways, parked vehicles or the bends where oncoming vehicles are leaving a 40mph zone into a 30mph zone. There is no way that the VW Golf driver can safely see from their positioning to overtake that there is no oncoming traffic approaching due to the bends. I use my horn as a warning to others, not in anger as some may think, as we do not know if anyone is about to walk around the parked vehicles so hopefully hearing our warning would make them think before stepping out.
