Labour contractor pays to workers in bridewell after arrested for drunk driving
Footage has emerged of a labour contractor paying to workers in detention house after he is arrested for drunk driving in China.
The video, filmed in Wuhan, Hubei Province on Tuesday, shows the labour contractor paying the salary to eight workers in the meeting room of the bridewell.
According to local reports, the labour contractor named Wong was arrested and detained in bridewell because of drunk driving before Chinese New Year.
So he was afraid he cannot pay the salary to the workers at the end of year in time, thus he would break faith with them.
After he told the police, they lent the meeting room in bridewell to him and allowed him to pay salary to the workers there.
