A heartwarming video has emerged of a man giving people free Uber rides to "pay it forward to society".

The footage, shot in Ashville, NC, USA late last month, shows YouTuber Lextasy giving cash back to his clients after he gave them a lift.

Lex explained he was bullied as a kid when his family moved to the US because he didn't know the language and the culture of the country.

When he was a child, a couple introduced them to the American way of life, which he says change his outlook on life.

"I finally gotten the financial opportunity to start giving back to others and decided Uber was a good way to start," he wrote.

"I registered and drove the whole night while paying every single person back for the ride and then some. And their reactions were priceless."
