A man was arrested for exploding a fireworks shop before the Spring Festival in Hanzhong City of northwest China's Shaanxi Province.

The explosion took place on the evening of January 21, when the fireworks shop exploded and burnt to the ground, igniting a neighboring motorbike store and burnt more than 30 motorbikes. Fortunately there was no human casualty.

The police investigation found that the explosion was no accident but man-made.

Although the fire and explosion destroyed many video cameras in the fireworks shop, some surveillance videos still managed to show a man was highly suspected.

The police finally locked a 45-year-old man surnamed Li.

Investigations showed that Li had illegally stored 259 sets of fireworks at home. He was unreconciled after police confiscated the illicit fireworks and entrusted them to be stored at the fireworks shop.

Police said Li bought a box of fireworks from the shop and lit it up in front of it after getting drunk on Jan. 21.

The arsonist has been arrested. Further investigation is still under way.
眼前这一幕发生在汉中市汉台区秦发烟花爆竹专营店。店内存放的大量烟花爆竹爆炸燃烧。旁边的一家销售电动车的商铺也遭了秧，三十多辆电动车被烧毁。当地消防出动了4辆消防车，二十多名官兵用一个多小时才将大火扑灭。
从店内监控可以看到，当天晚上，一名戴着黑手套身穿灰色夹克的男子来到店内，购买了一箱烟花后，这名男子走出商店，引燃了这箱烟花，而烟花喷射的方向正对着商店。这时店内的四人发现情况不对，其中两人赶紧离开，剩下的一位售货员和其10岁的儿子一时间不知所措，竟然躲在了货架后。
很快，货架上的烟花爆竹被集体引燃，猛烈的爆炸发生了。店内的多个摄像头也同时被炸毁，所幸没有造成人员伤亡。而纵火男子也在当晚向警方投案自首。据了解，犯罪嫌疑人姓李，今年45岁，事发前，李某在家里非法储存了多达259件烟花爆竹，被警方发现后，烟花爆竹被全部收缴，并由警方交由秦发烟花爆竹专营店暂时保管。
事发当晚，李某在和朋友喝完酒之后，便独自来到了秦发烟花爆竹专营店，并引燃了买来的烟花。
目前，李某因涉嫌放火罪被检察院批准逮捕。
