Heartwarming footage has emerged from the US of a blind boy playing the piano at eight-years-old after being born at 24 weeks and given no chance of survival.

The video, filmed in Boston, Massachusetts on June 15 last year, shows little Ari performing at his first ever music concert.

The filmer later wrote online: "Born at 24 weeks with no chance of survival, or chance he will ever walk, talk or think, abandoned by his father who was ashamed because his son is blind after eight years Ari is having his first concert showing those who turned their back on him how wrong they were."
