A video has emerged from the UK of a man throwing a dart at his friend's outstretched palm.

The footage, captured after a darts match at Durham University on March 13, shows the dart impaling the man's hand after he drunkenly volunteered himself for it.

The man can be seen looking less than pleased after the dart gets buried in the middle of his hand.

"What did he expect?!" the filmer wrote online.

The video was shot on an iPhone after a classic Durham University Darts League encounter in March between John Snow Pandas and Van Mildert College. After the game, one of the Van Mildert players drunkenly volunteered to place his hand on the dart board whilst a number of players threw darts at it. He consequently got hit square in the middle of his palm, and promptly received a kiss.
