KANGAROO COOKING DISASTER!!!
The butcher at the Atwater market frequently has unusual meats. This time, he had a slice of (farmed) kangaroo from New Zealand, and I could not resist. The meat was so dark it was practically purple. As for the rest of the culinary exploration - I think I have learned to apply the hot sauce afterwards so as to avoid turning the house into the inside of a bottle of tear gas. Oh, and I overcooked the meat.
