Killer whales attack sea lions
Travis Twizell was on holiday in British Columbia, Canada on Wednesday with his wife and two children where they had an incredible encounter with one of nature's most impressive predators.
They had just been watching humpback whales when they noticed some sealions in the water and decided to go and investigate.
Suddenly, a pod of killer whales surfaced and started to the pursue the sealions which stayed close to the boat for safety.
The Twizells watched an incredible pursuit unfold inches away from their boat as the sealions tried in vain to outrun the whales.
Eventually, the whales began to pick off the tired sealions before surrounding them and moving in for the kill.
"It was an incredibly impressive thing to witness," said Travis Twizell.
