Lion kills giraffe calf in Maasai Mara, Kenya
Footage of a male lion attacking a giraffe calf as the mother tries helplessly to defend herself and her young.
The video, captured on November 27 in Maasai Mara, Kenya, shows the lion jumping onto the mother giraffe before she manages to run away.
However, as she flees her calf gets caught in her legs and falls down, allowing the lion to leap at it and kill it.
