This week I've been closely monitoring/documenting/ graphing the activity of Munsey and Boda. It appears to me that the cubs have developed a schedule that revolves around feeding time. So on a week day around 11:30 am Munsey and Boda can often be found napping in front of the bear doors located in the JP Adler Kodiak Bear Exhibit. The boys are waiting for lunch, which is why they plop themselves in front of the bear doors. They will take a nice nap for 30 to 45 minutes but then they begin to wake up and gently pick on each other. After the nap the bears are looking for their favorite toys. The cubs have dropped their favorite toys down into the PIT! The video demonstrates the strength and abilities they have to pull themselves up and out of the PITS edge. The zoo staff will retrieve the balls and fire-hose but the problem that remains is the bears will drop the toys down into the pit again because they truly behave like two year old human children. This video was taken on 4/24/2017 to be used with the graph documentation/ notations and photographs.https://wendlandtsusan.wordpress.com/about/http://visitmarshfield.com/bears/http://mmcebooks.a2hosted.com/2017/04/14/zoo-view-april-2017/
