The Underside of Willowdale Park

Willowdale Park, Frederick, Maryland. A beautiful neighborhood park with trails, a creek, wildlife, and a great place to walk, bike, take the dog out, etc. However, strewn around the park and under brush is something unacceptable. Trash, and the city of Frederick's policy does not help. No trash cans in the park. Alcohol and beer containers, plastic, an empty bottle of cough syrup (teenagers go down to an an area of high rocks and get high on cough syrup), dog shit, and more. This is simple, this is not a place for garbage. I implore people around the world that are just throwing trash where ever to knock it off. This is my park. I walk down there all the time. I found my youngest cat down there. The animals eat this stuff. Oh I forgot to mention broken glass on the paved path where people walk their dogs all the time. This is common sense people. If we don't respect nature it will not respect us. The artwork on the trees is neat though but I do not condone it. Thank you for watching and listening and please be nice to the Earth.
