Hot Air Balloon crossing busy road near Market Harborough
We were returning home from a friends BBQ in Leicester travelling along the A6 Bypass near Market Harborough when suddenly a low flying balloon appeared amongst the roadside trees skimming about 5ft above the ground and crossing the busy road. We were shocked in disbelief that nothing hit it. The incident was caught on my Dash Cam. It was obvious the pilot was forced to make the landing and the basket containing 2 passengers hit the field gate post slightly tipping the basket. We did hear all on board were safe if not slightly shaken. I dare not imagine what the outcome would have been had a high vehicle had come around the corner.
