Strong winds sent a giant moon balloon onto a busy road in eastern China.

Video filmed in Ningbo city in Zhejiang Province on October 5 shows a giant moon balloon rolling onto the vehicles on a busy road.

Belonging to a local hotel, this moon-themed decor was created as a festive light for the Mid-Autumn Festival, a tradition that celebrates the full moon and reunion of families.

A hotel staffer explained, that the decorative moon, anchored at the hotel entrance, was swept away by a gusty wind. Thanks to its canvas material, the globe was lightweight enough to carry off but robust enough not to cause harm.

While the balloon did roll out onto the streets, thankfully, no traffic accidents ensued.

Finally, a scrap collector whisked away the giant moon balloon.
