Saharan dust turns the sun red over UK
As ex-Hurricane Ophelia moves into Ireland it pulls up warm air all the way from North Africa across England and Wales. The southerly winds draw up dust from the Sahara desert and Iberian forest fires into the skies above the UK creating an eerie orange hue over the landscape and turning the sun red. The phenomena was experienced across most of the UK.
