A video filmed by a motorcyclist tailing a suspected drunk driver is sparking heated debate in online forums.

YouTube user ‘Kawi636’, who wishes to remain anonymous, filmed his actions from his helmet camera as he rode home in Rochester, Michigan late last month.

The rider decided to follow the car after her spotted it being driven the wrong way down a dual carriageway and weaving across lanes at inconsistent speeds.

The bike’s speedometer displays speeds of up to 80 mp/h as he sought to keep up with the car before calling police on the bluetooth headset inside his helmet.

Police eventually apprehend the driver of the car, while the motorcyclist can be heard saying “I’m just glad they were able to stop him before something bad happened.”
