This motorcyclist was inches from a horrific end when he skidded into the path of a lorry driving at full pelt.

CCTV footage shows traffic driving along a road at a high speed.

Out of nowhere a motorcycle speeds across the road on its side and seconds behind it is the rider.

A passing lorry runs right over the bike and it shatters into pieces.

The rider arrives less than a second later - just missing the lorry's back wheels by inches.
He looks up surprised, as the remnants of his bike surround him.

The incident happened in the city of Qiyuan in China's Shandong Province on Thursday.

“He saw the truck, but his bike was too fast for him to control. He fell on the ground as he put on the brake," said a traffic police officer.

摩托车超速失控 差点卷入货车下
这起交通事故可是够惊险的，一名摩托车驾驶员因为超速行驶造成车辆失控，差一点就钻进了一辆大货车的车轮下，还好人家的命大，只是受了一点皮外伤。
监控录像显示，早上的5点45分左右，在沂源县的烟台路与济南路路口，此时路口的信号灯一直是黄闪状态。就在这时，一辆由东向西行驶的二轮摩托车在通过路口时突然失控，连人带车一起滑到了路中间。
随后更为惊险的一幕发生了，就在驾驶员和摩托车刚刚滑倒路口中间时，一辆由南向北行驶的大货车正好也来到了这个位置。由于事发突然，大货车驾驶员来不及反应，差一点就碾压上了这位摩托车驾驶员。
事故发生后，惊魂未定的摩托车驾驶员在地上坐了一会才艰难的站起来。经过医生诊断，这名摩托车驾驶员只是有些擦伤并没有大碍。

沂源交警大队事故处理科民警 李海涛说： 摩托车的车速太快了，他明显看到了这辆由南向北的货车，他也想减速，但是由于车速过快，摩托车本身是两个轮子，一减速，控制不了，致使摩托车侧滑，一直滑倒了路口中间。
