A Day with SKI PATROL & Avalanche rescue dog
The ski patrol do more than ski around and respond to your injuries. They have avalanche rescue dogs to help you if you get trapped in an avalanche. They prep the mountain by marking obstacles, cliffs and rocks so you don't injure yourself. They have gear always at the ready, including in their huts at the top of the mountain and in the toboggans they pull behind themselves. This video shows you what a day as a ski patroller includes, as well as the skiing.
