Mother gray whale dwarfs newborn baby
This mother and baby (cow/calf) pair of gray whales are migrating South to Mexico where most pregnant females give birth but this baby couldn't wait, they have only about 600 more miles left on their journey from Alaska where the mother left a few months prior. The calf is likely only a few days old based on the lack of barnacles and visible fetal folds. With video, credit must include "Mark Girardeau" and "Newport Coastal Adventure"
