Breakfast for Grandpa was extra special today!
My whole life I've been extremely close with my Grandpa as he is the only male role model that I've had. Last year I relocated from Wisconsin to Florida and had to say goodbye to this incredible man. Last week his older sister passed away. In order to cheer him up I flew home to surprise him at his favorite diner, disguised as a waiter. He is legally blind, which made this a little more challenging than expected! My Grandpa is a WWII Veteran and will be turning 90 years old next month. This is the first time that I have ever witnessed him show emotion.
